Our family had a blast , carnival think of everything. The staff all over the ship were amazing ,so friendly and helpful. Entertainment was great . Soooooooo much food and yum. This was my family's 1st cruise and we can't wait to book again. We did isle of pines, lifou, noumea and mystery island OMG
so beautiful what a way to holiday . Loved it
We had an amazing time on the carnival spirit. There is so much to do on the boat and our kids were kept entertained all the time. The food and entertainment was amazing. We will definitely be back soon.
Loved the cruise. Balcony cabin was excellent - having an extra long balcony was perfect for relaxing away from the crowds.
Choice of food was good but didn't like the specific timed dining (requested any time but missed out on that). Dining room staff were very attentive and amusing. Entertainment on many nights not up to standards of P&O cruises we have been on but some other nights were brilliant.
Bar staff generally great but did run in to a couple of surly, unfriendly ones.
Will be doing this again - happy to try other cruise lines but will return to Carnival in the future.
The Carnival spirit is my first cruise and was beyond what I had expected. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the crew aboard. Throughout my time aboard i was well looked after and all i had to do was relax. Everything was well thought out, including a handy itinerary of
daily activities that was delivered to my room. The food on board was great - both at the buffet and restaurants - no complaints there. The staff at the restaurants were very accommodating, namely Ekadana, Putu and Trisna. They were very friendly and professional and most importantly gave great service. Further the restaurant was impeccable as was the rest of the ship.
On board activities were fun and ongoing throughout the day. They were always entertaining. Entertainment at the Pharoh's palace was good, but it would have been better to see something different other than singing most nights. It was great to see a lot of variety in the on board duty free shops; it was money well spent. Note to self: buying lots of cheap gifts adds up to big money!
The islands of New Caledonia was an enjoyable experience. There was no need to book tours to experience what the islands had to offer A bus trip around each island and time spent among the white sand beaches were enough to satisfy an insatiable appetite for paradise. The locals, natives and foods were absolutely devine.
Overall the cruise was a delight and it was well worth the money. I have come back refreshed and would happily go on this same cruise line again.
Embarkation on to the ship went well about the cruise was fabulous. The entertainment crew were great, we were not bored at all. The dining room staff entertained us and looked after us extremely well and the food was excellent. We were always greeted by name. Meals in the buffet were excellent
not only tasted good but looked good.
All staff were friendly and acknowledged us. The whole ship was kept clean and we were well looked after in our cabin. Staff here also greeted us by name and kept our cabin extremely clean and tidy.
We did not have any photos taken and thought the fun shop was a rip off. Alcohol was much cheaper in Noumea
I felt the cost of the bus to Mare' was unnecessary. Unfortunately it was raining and would have made the trip more worth while. But the tender boats were well managed. Isle of Pines was beautiful and Noumea was unrecognisable since the last time I was there.
Disembarkation went well and more or less kept to time.
Unfortunately I arrived home with a head cold, which I put down to air conditioning as I felt cold the whole time on the ship except in bed, although comfortable, I felt over heated with the nylon based sheets.
As always, cruising was great. We had a slight problem with the weather but the Captain rearranged the Itinerary and all worked out well. We really enjoy the Carnival Ships, with their fun atmosphere. They are so family friendly. After some 40 cruises we have probably become a little blase and
so it's inspiring to see so many young people thoroughly enjoying their first cruise experience with newly-made friends. They actually ask to go to Kids Club! What could be better for parents than that?
We have travelled with many different cruise lines and one of the things we enjoy about Carnival is the relaxed atmosphere, allowing everyone to let their hair down and just breathe easy. And for those who enjoy a bit of quiet time there is always the adults-only Serenity deck area at the aft of the ships, complete with a bar for those who like to relax with a drink.
We took our grand children on both the Spirit and the Legend and, besides loving the snorkling at the pristine South Pacific Island beaches, while back on board the ships they really enjoyed the waterworks facilities with the vertical slides. When one day the weather was not the best, I was amazed to see the glass roof close over the ship's swimming pool area so that everyone could still enjoy the outdoor area.
Could anything be better? Yes the loyalty program.
What a way to relax, the kids my husband and myself loved everything about everything! Best value for money spent on a family holiday! Kids loved kids club, everyone were super friendly! We just had the best time it's been hard coming home and having to cook meals and clean the house again! Already

I first started cruising at the end of 2014 and by now, our family have done a total of 7 cruises. They were all booked through Cruise Sale Finder and 5 of them were by Carnival.
I find Cruise Sale Finder's website clear, easily to navigate and the booking process is easy too. If there is any problem, it is easy to contact them by phone and sometimes by web chat. Their staff would always try their best to help and to provide the best services. I can also trust them to give me the best prices for the cruises I want to book.
Apart from Carnival, we have tried couple of other cruise lines, but we still prefer Carnival. The ships are beautiful and well maintained, the staff are all nice, polite and willing to go out of their way to make sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our trips. The performances at each dinner were very special. The Maitre D on Carnival Spirit was the best I have come across and the Entertainment Director was so very funny. I also like the fact that Carnival employs Australian speaking comedians and entertainment director that further enhanced our experiences on board as it was much easier to understand them.
