From party cruises in the Baltic to a classy Cunard voyage, I’ve been lucky enough to experience the full spectrum of cruise life. Onboard you’ll probably find me by the pool with a doorstop sized book in one hand and a mojito in the other, or sampling an array of delicious foods.

Cruising is one of my absolute favourite ways to travel. I love all the cruise classics like lounging by the pool with a cocktail and watching the sun sink beneath the waves - but I also make sure to visit the specialty restaurants on every voyage. They may cost a little extra, but it’s a small price to pay for so much deliciousness.

I love how cruising lets you live a life of luxury, if only for a few days or weeks. Having everything laid on for me and being able to leave my worries on shore instantly puts me in holiday mode. It doesn’t hurt that there are some great shopping opportunities onboard as well…

Ryan General Manager

Favourite ship: Pacific Princess
Best cruise tip: Your cabin steward is the most important crew member on the cruise. Look after them, and they will help make your cruise a very memorable experience.

I was employed as the District Sales Manager for Carnival Australia, based in NZ, before setting up Cruises Online, now Cruise Sale Finder, (the owners of this website) in 2008. I am passionate about cruising and have enjoyed many voyages to and around destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, South Pacific and New Zealand. I have cruised on Pacific Dawn, Pacific Jewel, Pacific Pearl, Pacific Sun, Pacific Star, Sun Princess, Golden Princess, Pacific Princess, Royal Princess, Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Silhouette, Voyager of the Seas, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Pride.

Kirsty Product/Operations Manager

Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Best cruise tip: Check out which ports are famous for what souvenir so you don't purchase everything at the first port of call. Leave plenty of room in your suitcase for your shopping, or pack a carry bag to load with your purchases. The extra bag is also handy for any items you need to "declare" so you don't have to open your main suitcase!

I have worked in travel since 2003 after living abroad in New York, Calgary and London. I took 5 months off in 2009 to travel around Africa, Spain, Turkey and Croatia. Cruising is an awesome way to travel and I love seeing the growth as more and more Australians & Kiwis get to experience the wonder of "unpacking once" and not lifting a finger for the whole holiday!

Sarah New Zealand Manager

Favourite ship: Queen Mary 2
Best cruise tip: Although cruising is a cashless society it is always a good idea to take some small amounts of local currencies to make purchases when you are ashore.

I love cruising! It is a great way to see the world and make new friends. I have travelled to Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean, the Mediterranean, South Pacific, New Zealand and Mexico. All of them have been fantastic trips. I enjoy being able to unpack once, being surrounded by friendly staff from all over the world and being able to see several destinations in one trip.

Verity Reservation Manager

Favourite ship: Radiance of the Seas
Best cruise tip: If possible, fly in the day before the cruise departs to extend your holiday and avoid any potential flight delays/traffic that may cause any necessary stress on embarkation day.

I've been working in the travel industry for nearly 4 years now and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I love selling cruising in particular as I believe it is such a fantastic and stress-free way to travel. I have been lucky enough to cruise on ships such as Pacific Jewel, Pacific Aria, Diamond Princess, Radiance of the Seas and Queen Victoria and I have had such an enjoyable experience each time and really love what cruising has to offer!

Anthony Team Leader

Favourite ship: Golden Princess
Best cruise tip: Stay on board when you can. If you visit a port which you may not necessarily need to see, use this day to explore the many facilities on the ship. Port days are always very quiet on the ship, no queues, no crowds, no fuss. You can also scoop up some big discounts at the spa and salon!

My family and I have been cruising for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories in life is throwing streamers off the side of a cruise ship as we sail away from port. The transition from leisure cruising to selling cruise was a very natural process. Prior to joining the travel industry, I cruised just about every other year. I have now been selling travel for about 7 years. In my experience, cruising is absolutely the best way to travel.

Alexandrea Cruise Specialist (Part-Time)

Favourite ship: Queen Mary 2
Best cruise tip: Make sure to book early if you're wanting to take the family away over the school holidays you don't want to miss out and the ships fill up fast!

I made the move to the cruising industry after completing my studies in Travel & Tourism. I always loved the idea of Cruising as you get to see so many different places and only have to unpack once! I have travelled throughout New Zealand, Australia and the beautiful South Pacific Islands.

Amy Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Explorer of the Seas
Best cruise tip: If you plan on spending any down time in your room away from the cruising social scene, book a balcony cabin and take in the ocean views!

I love travel and have been working within the tourism industry for the past 5 years! Cruising is a great way to travel if you have never been overseas, have a family and children to occupy or even if you're just looking to relax and only unpack once. There are so many great ships there really is something for everyone!

Amy Mc

Amy Mc Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Crown Princess
Best cruise tip: Get to know the crew onboard your ship especially the Bar Staff. They are the people who know all the best places to visit in the ports of call and they will have lots of handy hints to help you spend your time wisely.

I love to travel and have been lucky enough to see most of the world during 12 years working for Princess Cruises as Food and Beverage Manager. I have a passion for cruising and believe its the best way to go on holiday as you only need to unpack once and you can do as much or as little as you like with your time onboard.

Ben Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Pacific Pearl & Regent Navigator
Best cruise tip: Cruise ship spas often offer discounts for first-day and port-day treatments. Stop by the spa, or check your daily newsletters to find out about deals.

I have been working as a travel agent for the last 5 years, and am just getting into the cruise industry. Cruising has been a lifelong dream of mine and I'm excited to be making that dream a reality for my clients!

Bonnie Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Oasis of the Seas.
Best cruise tip: If you wish to explore the destination your cruise is departing from, it is a good idea to arrive there a couple days earlier to explore.

I am new to the Travel Industry after completing my studies in Tourism. I have always loved travelling and learning about different cultures. I have travelled around Europe, America, New Zealand, Singapore and around Australia. Cruising is a great way to see many cities around the world – it is perfect for those who enjoy a relaxing holiday and for those who like to be on the go.

Cam S

Cam S Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Anthem of the Seas
Best cruise tip: Ensure you pack a power board. Some cabins provide limited power outlets and if you need to charge several devices it can be very annoying if you don't have enough points

I have been working in the travel industry for almost 4 years. I have been able to travel and experience some amazing things. I have been lucky enough to move to Victoria from NSW in the past couple of years and move forward in my career. I have sailed through many places such as Bahamas, South Pacific, Fiji and Queensland and NSW coast.

Cameron Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Diamond Princess & Voyager of the Seas
Best cruise tip: Pre-book Drinks Packages and Shore Tours when possible to make the most of your enjoyment onboard.

I've been involved in the travel industry since 2010, after catching the travel bug while I was overseas in Europe I decided this was the industry I was most passionate about and wanted to focus on. After doing a lot of cruises for my customers I decided this was an area I wanted to focus on as I think it's a great way to travel and see a number of different destinations and cultures in one trip and with only having to unpack just ONCE! In my travels I have been to USA, England, Majority of Europe, Doha, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, and Fiji.

Crystal Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Norwegian Getaway
Best cruise tip: Always pack a sweater no matter the season as it can get cold in the ship interiors!

I took my first cruise over 12 years ago and right away, I was hooked! I have been in the travel industry for over 6 years with the majority of them being involved in the Cruise Industry. After working onboard for a few years, I decided it was time to get my land legs back and I began to sell cruise holidays which I absolutely fell in love with. When I am not working you can be sure to find me sailing somewhere.....anywhere. Cruising is life!

Danni Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Best cruise tip: As there are so many cruise lines to choose from be sure to have a chat with your cruise specialist to find the most suitable ship to match the holiday experience you desire

New to the travel industry I have always had a driving passion to travel and explore the many destinations our world has to offer. In the past 5 years I have had the pleasure of traveling through out Europe and Asia and realised working in travel is the only place to be. I love talking to people and helping them make their dream holiday come true. What better way to see the sights and relax than on a cruise full of wonderful facilities and fabulous staff that will take care of your every need.

Felicia Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Ovation of the seas
Best cruise tip: If your travelling for a special occasion, always remember to let the cruise line know, so they can make your experience extra special

I love to Travel, and what better way to travel then on a cruise! I am new to the cruise industry but have worked in the travel industry around 3 years and am loving it. Cruising is such a stress free way to travel and great value for money.

Flora Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Golden Princess
Best cruise tip: If cruising with children, be sure to invest in a cabin that is spacious for all. Avoid bunk beds for kids under seven, instead try a cabin with a pull out sofa. And make sure your children take advantage of the awesome kids club facilities and entertainment that cruise ships have to offer.

I have been involved in the travel industry for over ten years and have been traveling for over thirty. The way l travel has certainly changed from when l was a child to now, being a Mum to two young kids. I love traveling with my family and l draw on that knowledge to help customers decide logistics, accommodations and other travel tips.

Hayley Groups Consultant

Favourite ship: Radiance of the Seas
Best cruise tip: Check what currency and power points are used on the ships. They can vary from cruise line to cruise line.

I have been working in the travel industry for 2 years now after spending many years in Hospitality I decided it was time for a change and I have not looked back since. I worked in corporate travel before deciding to pursue something a bit more relaxed. I have travelled to many exciting destinations including Alaska, Vancouver, Singapore and Seattle. On every trip I do I manage to fit a cruise in, they are such a great way to see some different places that may not necessarily be on your list. I am happy to be combining my career and my passion.

Jason Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Celebrity Solstice
Best cruise tip: If you are worried about getting sea-sick, take some sea sickness medication at least two prior to getting on board to help your body adjust.

Have been in travel for 10+ years now having worked with Airlines, Hotels and other travel agents, so can offer all round advice. Found my calling with Cruises when I realised the value that it included and the fun times to be had. Packing and unpacking once is just the way I like to travel and is a great feature of cruising. I've been to a total of 27 countries including most of Europe, India and the Middle East

Marcus Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Norwegian Jade
Best cruise tip: Book early or book when you see a great price, too many times people leave it too late and the cruise or cabin sells out.

I have in the last year moved into the cruise industry, and what a fantastic industry and way to travel. Travel has always been a massive part of my life and cruising is the perfect way to do this. Not only great value but so diverse and there really is something for everyone.

Narelle Cruise Specialist (Part-Time)

Favourite ship: Voyager Of The Seas
Best cruise tip: Get children to check out the kids clubs at the start of the cruise so they can make friends early before "clicks" are formed.

I have been in the travel industry for over 10 years. My passion is cruising, and I have been a cruise specialist for over 6 years. I have a large family, so I specialise in family cruises. Cruising is the most cost effective way of having a family holiday that suits all ages and tastes, and with the cost of food and most activities included, it is very easy to plan and travel to different destinations. Cruising is also great for multi generation travel as well, so travelling with extended family is easy and a great way to be together.

Tegan Cruise Specialist

Favourite ship: Oasis of the seas
Best cruise tip: Most cruise cabin walls are metal. Pack some magnets, and you can attach your daily program to the wall for easy access

I recently joined the cruise team after working in sales in the Car Rental industry. I absolutely love traveling and think cruising has it all, from transport, accommodation, activities and entertainment and let's not forget about food (lots of food), it's the whole package

Katrina Junior Cruise Consultant

Best cruise tip: Select the Late Dining Seating! This means you have time to get back from your shore excursions, relax and get ready before you enjoy your dinner with friends and family.

After working in Hospitality for 5 years and achieving my goals I decided it was time to take on my next passion TRAVEL! I have always loved travel and the idea of cruising since I was young. I would travel to new states and countries with family every year exploring the world and showing others what the world offers. I am excited to be working in the cruise industry and to help others discover the beauty of cruising and travel!

Courtney Junior Cruise Consultant

Favourite ship: Explorer of the Seas
Best cruise tip: Choose an early check in time to take advantage of lunch and to check out the ship before everyone else gets on board.

I have always loved travelling. While I am fairly new to working in travel I have always had a passion for it. Before the age of 18 I had already visited over 11 countries, sailed on several cruises as well as travelling around Australia. What I love about cruising is the connect you make with other cruiser passengers as well as the staff. You get to see the world and meet the most amazing people while doing it.
