Pacific Aria is set to hit our shores - book now to secure your spot!
For the first time ever, P&O’s Pacific Aria is going to be based out of Auckland, sailing to all kinds of exciting destinations around the Pacific. Arriving in April 2019, Pacific Aria will be replacing the Pacific Jewel, which is good news for Kiwi cruisers. For a start, Pacific Aria is a smaller ship with a passenger capacity of less than 1,400, giving sailings a more personal, intimate feel. But that’s far from the only reason to step aboard this amazing vessel in Auckland.
A favourite shipboard feature amongst those who’ve already taken a cruise on the Pacific Aria is the top deck pool. Climate control and a retractable roof means that it’s never a bad time to head poolside, and the understated decor gives the place an effortlessly classic pool club atmosphere. Whether you’re cooling off in the pool or relaxing on a lounger nearby, the top deck pool is bound to lure you in.
Of course, the food is a major highlight on almost any cruise and Pacific Aria is no slouch in this regard, featuring many tempting options which are included in your cruise fare. Dragon Lady transports diners to the exotic lands of the Orient for mouthwatering Asian fusion cuisine that will add a bit of spice to your holiday, while Angelos will appeal to those seeking hearty soulfood, with its lovingly crafted traditional Italian dishes. For a casual bite to eat you can browse the diverse selection at The Pantry, Pacific Aria’s answer to standard cruise buffet, which gives guests the chance to select from a generous variety of foodcourt style stations. Then there’s Waterfront, the main dining room which serves up classic three-course meals - you’ll never be short of a place to discover something tasty.
If you’re done with relaxing for a while and are ready to party, Pacific Aria still has you covered. The Blue Room is your go-to live music venue, hosting wide range of acts from RnB to Blues. This is the perfect spot to go for a nightcap after attending one of P&O’s top notch shows or themed parties. To keep the party going into the wee hours, The Dome is the place to be. The DJs at Pacific Aria’s nightclub venue will have you dancing your heart out to amazing tunes till you finally collapse into bed for a well deserved sleep in.
Families are also well provided for on this ship, with kids club facilities catering to children from age 3 all the way up to 17. It’s important to note however that since the Pacific Aria is a smaller ship, spaces are limited in the kids programmes so you’ll need to book a spot early to avoid missing out.
From 3 night comedy cruises to 12 night Fiji escapes, the Pacific Aria offers all kinds of adventures for those setting out across the bright blue seas from Auckland.
